Crosser partners with Ericsson to simplify Industry 4.0 Stockholm, 12 March, 2019 - Crosser, a leading provider of Intelligent Edge Analytics software for Industrial IoT, today announced that the firm has partnered with Ericsson, a global leader in 4G/5G cellular network technology, by joining the Ericsson Industry 4.0 partner program.
“We are glad to announce cooperation with an industry leader such as Ericsson” says Martin Thunman, CEO and co-founder of Crosser. “Wireless will play a key role for the future connected industry and edge analytics has a natural place in the architecture which makes the cooperation very logical”.
The transition to Industry 4.0 will depend on successful adoption of many new technologies. To accelerate smart manufacturing, digital twins of machines and operations will be a necessity, as will production automation and real-time control of equipment and tasks. In addition to being a part of Ericsson Industry 4.0 partner program, Ericsson and Crosser are planning a permanent demo set-up at the Ericsson Expo in Kista, Sweden.
“We believe that skills gaps and complexity is the biggest barrier in the transition of factories to become truly smart. One of our top priorities is to continue to lower the barriers by providing a library of building blocks and an intuitive drag-and-drop user interface which empowers non-developers to innovate faster than ever, “ says Thunman.
