Answer:

When recreating a Node with a different name on the same host machine, you must either remove the existing data folder or reset the Node via the Crosser Control Center. Note that all the deployed flows will be removed from the Node and will need to be redeployed. This ensures the new Node initializes correctly without conflicts.
