Understanding Jobs
Whenever changes that affect Nodes are made in the Crosser Control Center—such as deploying or upgrading a Flow—Jobs are created for the affected Nodes. These Jobs are queued and monitored each time a Node connects to the Control Center. You can track Job progress on the Jobs tab on the Manage→Nodes page. When a Node completes a Job, it updates the event log with the new status. Jobs will be created also for Nodes that are currently offline. The next time they connect to the Control Center the jobs will be downloaded and executed in the order of creation. If you change your mind, any pending job can be deleted from the Jobs list.
Depending on the type of action taken in the Control Center, a job may contain one or several tasks. For example, if a deployed Flow is updated to a new version it will result in 4 tasks: Stop the current Flow version, Delete the current version, Download the new version, Start the new version. When selecting a job on the Jobs page the corresponding tasks and their status is shown in a side panel.
